Verdict

Last seen finishing fourth in the Group 3 Cornwallis at Newmarket, THE CRUISING LORD was an earlier running-on second at Sandown and has already had one run over 6f. This intermediate distance should suit Michael Attwater’s gelding who is getting 7lb from last month’s impressive Wolverhampton winner Global Prospector. Highest Mountain and Bluebell Time may do better in handicaps and Laura's Legacy has shown little so far.
