Verdict

Placed over 6f, Ziggle Pops made an unconvincing attempt over today’s longer trip at Newbury last time and a chance is taken STRIDING EDGE has the greater stamina. Third over 6f at Newbury on his latest start, he’s the first foal of a winner over a mile and Mark Johnston’s runners enjoy plenty of success at this southern track. Anglo Saxson was tailed off on his debut but the newcomer Herodotus is worth a second glance.
