Verdict
This is an open affair and we take OFF CHANCE to return to winning form at the expense of Do The Deal and Ethics Girl. Placed on both her starts as a juvenile, Do The Deal was made favourite on her seasonal re-appearance but came up against a useful winner, finishing a close fourth. That was a decent effort and she will be fitter this time. Ethics Girl makes her handicap debut here, and she ran her best race to date at Goodwood last month. Although never looking like winning, she hinted that she may be reasonably treated. Off Chance took her Ripon maiden in smooth fashion, and then was a little outclassed at York. Dropped back to near her winning trip here, and also lowered a couple of pounds by the handicapper, Off Chance can score here.
