Verdict

Graceland will have learned plenty from her third here in December but she was a thorough stayer on the Flat so a step up in distance wouldn’t come amiss. After a couple of good runs at Doncaster, Via Delle Volte turned in a shocker when favourite at Ludlow. That can’t have been her true running and she goes on the short-list along with Market Rasen runner-up Emma Lamb and Phil Kirby’s Irish import Lady Camelot. PINK LEGEND (NAP) was only beaten half-a-length by an odds-on favourite at Bangor. That was a huge improvement on her first run over timber and there should be more to come.
