Verdict

GOLIATHS BOY, a very encouraging second on debut stepped up to seven furlongs last time where he finished third behind Anthology. With his 82 rated stable companion Cosmic Sun behind in fourth, that level of form reads well in the context of this race. Madam'X, a Xaar filly trained by Paul Cole is an extremely interesting newcomer. The Cole yard are two from three in the last five years with their select band of juveniles which they bring to this venue and any market support would be significant. Blue Noodles has indicated some promise in maidens while Great Charter has shown little but the yard have had numerous juvenile winners in recent weeks. Goliaths Boy is a confident selection to open his account here.
