In depth

Verdict

This course brings the best out of Miss Fahrenheit, who is readily preferred over Sister Cinnamon, who is yet to race over this trip, whereas Elfkirk is respected but would need plenty of luck on her side if things were to swing her way. The last mentioned is a capable stayer at a modest level and should be up to winning a race of this nature somewhere along the line. However, she has not shown much since she made a winning debut in a bumper last April and needs to find improvement from somewhere to trouble the likely principle players. One of which is Sister Cinnamon, who won in good style at Uttoxeter last month. She shapes as if she will get at least this trip and can pose the selection plenty of problems along the way. However, Miss Fahrenheit has really got her act together over hurdles at the moment and, as the soft ground holds no fears for her, she is expected to be very hard to beat as she bids for her third straight victory of the season.
