In depth

Verdict

HOLD COURT is a very useful novice and his latest run on heavy ground at Uttoxeter can be disregarded. There is just a danger that he might have had enough for the season but he should be good enough to give weight to these. Western Warhorse has won between the flags but fell on his hurdling debut at Ffos Las and the market will be the best guide to his chances here. Champagne N Caviar finished tailed off at Doncaster last month but Foxes Bridge wasn't disgraced at Plumpton and has a bit of scope.
