In depth

Verdict

Edna is lightly-raced but has shown plenty of promise though she'll need to get over her fall at Ballinrobe last week. Winning bumper Joy's Gift had some decent for in maidens last summer and looked on her way back at Down Royal last time while Slainte And Thanks should be winning soon judged on her latest run at Tramore though probably over further. Talsara beat a huge field in a Punchestown handicap a year ago and a recent spin on the Flat will have put him straight though this should go to LITTLESTICKARUBARB (NAP). Mick Winters' mare gave notice of an imminent victory on her first start for the yard at Downpatrick and couldn't have gone much close at Tramore last week.
