Ecoeye was narrowly beaten into third on soft ground at Listowel and John Shinnick is good value for his claim. Fair Game is on a long losing run but both career victories have come on testing ground. Conversant scored over an extended 6f at Listowel then made a bold attempt defy a 5lb rise at Gowran last week and is on the same mark here. The maiden Grace To Grace was well supported at Navan but may have found the ground too quick and was never in contention but MERYEMS WAY (NAP) scored twice on soft going at Gowran earlier this season and will be better for last month's return so gets the nod. The beautifully-bred Tracing has been very disappointing.
