Harvey Specter dropped back to a mile when running his best race for some time at Gowran last week but Liars Corner scored over this trip on heavy ground at Roscommon before finding a 6lb rise beyond him at Galway. Cavelli finished just in front of him in the latter race after attempting to make all but finding Jazz Lady much too strong in the closing stages. Alice Milligan has yet to win or race over this trip and was well beaten on her only start on soft ground. Early Strike was having his first start for Gavin Cromwell when fourth at Ffos Las so should have some improvement in him. NATIONAL IDENTITY has only raced over a trip this far and was well beaten but that was on his return to action after a long break and he showed enough when runner-up at Naas in August that he's capable of winning a race like this.
