In depth

Verdict

Goulane Davina won over 2m3f here on heavy going and has scored over this trip though this is the first time she has faced quick going. PILGRIM WAY beat a huge field over 2m6f at Navan in September and will like the conditions. He's one of the youngest in the line-up and has the scope to do better so gets the nod. Kennedys Mor is another who will enjoy the faster ground though he's on his highest ever mark after his Clonmel victory. Midnight Theatre had his first run over fences at Down Royal on Monday and performed with credit so he's on the shortlist while Dr Waluigi has been running well over shorter trips and with a point-to-point victory to his credit the step-up should suit.
