Verdict

Cayenne Pepper won this a year ago and has been competing exclusively at Group 1 level subsequently without hitting the same heights. Last year’s dual classic winner LOVE hasn’t quite been at her best in her two recent starts though it wouldn’t be a surprise to see her bounce back and she holds Thundering Nights on a line through Audarya, whom she beat on her reappearance. The latter finished in front of Joseph O’Brien’s filly at Deauville last time. La Petite Coco deservedly takes her chance at the highest level after demolishing her rivals in a Cork Grade 3. However, she takes on high-class opposition for the first time and her recent victories have all come on ground with plenty of give.
