Jessica Harrington saddles the pair with experience and Jungle Cove ran very well over the track and trip last time while The Truant only faded close home over this trip at Leopardstown. Ger Lyons has introduced some nice youngsters in recent weeks and Agent Zero could be another while Geometrical is by Dawn Approach out of a very well-connected mare. Shekhem is by Zoffany out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals while Gordon Elliott's LONGCLAW cost E160,000 at the Breeze-up in May so must have shown up well. He gets a tentative vote as Aidan O'Brien has won five of the nine renewals and has three entries. Iberia is a half-brother to four winners though none at Pattern Race level; Russian Emperor is a brother to a winning miler and out of a prolific winning mare in Australia; while Sherpa is by Zoffany out of a winning two-year-old miler.
