In depth

Verdict

This looks a particularly hot maiden which should provide plenty of future winners but the Dubawi newcomer Wolf Country is still worth a market check as Godolphin won the race last year. Charlie Hills targets the contest and has won three of the last five but Never Surrender dropped away tamely when only fourth last time at Salisbury. Hydroxide, The Anvil and GLENCADAM GLORY only found one too good on their respective debuts. All have entries in the Royal Lodge and are certain to improve here but we'll give a narrow vote to the Gosden colt, who was particularly green at Newmarket last month.
