In depth

Verdict

The switch to Turf didn't bother Apache Glory at Beverley and she'll make a bold bid to complete her four-timer, though others look better treated now. Curly Come Home was a promising second at Leicester while Bobs Her Uncle was only beaten a nose at Redcar and Dazzling Valentine should probably have beaten hot favourite Focail Maith at Yarmouth and Natasha Eaton will no doubt be trying to play her late again here. George Chaloner claims 5lb off COSMIC HALO and, though she hasn't raced since January, Richard Fahey's filly gets a tentative vote here as, having won over a mile on good to firm ground a year ago, she won't mind the drop in distance.
