DISKO was entered in the previous race and beat Our Duke over slightly further than this in a Leopardstown Grade 1 before an excellent run in the JLT at Cheltenham. He ended the campaign beating Anibale Fly five lengths over 3m in the Champion Novices' at Punchestown, when A Toi Phil was well beaten, and can make a successful reappearance before heading back to Grade 1 company. The latter is better over this shorter trip as he showed when beating Balko Des Flos at Gowran last month while Ballyoisin got over his earlier jumping problems with a smooth victory over 2m1f at Cork last time. Ball D'arc couldn't quite make the transition to Grade 1 company last season but is young enough to make further progress.
