In depth

Ballyfinboy won this in 2016 and I'm An Izz Wizz a year later. The former is very well handicapped but has looked a light of other days. Shes Flat Tothemat looked as though she needed further than this when beaten 6l behind Canadian Steel over 2m5f at Tramore and the winner, who won over 2m7f here earlier, may also prefer further. This is the correct trip for Allduckornodinner and Gavin Cromwell's charge, a winner over hurdles last month, finished runner-up here the last time he ran over fences so should get into the frame. ALLIED VICTORY is 1-23 over fences but almost doubled his tally at Clonmel earlier this month. That was over a trip too short and on his return from a long break so he's handed the vote.

Canadian Steel (IRE) 9-2 (11-11) Held up in rear, headway from 4 out, went 5th 3 out, 3rd 2 out, ridden to lead at last, stayed on well run-in, won at Tramore 2m 6f hcp gd in May beating Star Of Oscar (11-12) by 3 1/4l, 13 ran.

Stoughan Cross (IRE) 10-1 (11-1) Led, joined after 4th, headed after 5 out, pushed along and lost place after 3 out, dropped towards rear before next, no extra, 7th of 8, 25 3/4l behind King's War (11-2) at Wexford 2m 4f hcp Good - Yielding in Jun.

I'm An Izz Wizz (IRE) 11-2 (11-12) Tracked leaders, slight mistake 4th, 3rd 4 out, ridden in 5th after next, moderate 6th 2 out, no impression, 6th of 9, 22 3/4l behind Slemish (11-6) at Downpatrick 2m 3f hcp Good - Yielding in Mar.

Allduckornodinner (IRE) 5-2fav (11-11) Always behind, hung to outer after 3 out and pushed along, no impression and eased from 2 out, never a factor, 11th of 12, 23 1/4l behind Rathnaleen Tou (10-13) at Tramore 2m 5f hcp gd in May.

Shes Flat Tothemat (IRE) 4-1fav (11-6) Mid-division, closer in 4th at 8th slight mistake 11th, 6th 3 out, soon ridden and no impression, kept on one paced run-in, 4th of 13, 6 1/4l behind Canadian Steel (11-11) at Tramore 2m 6f hcp gd in May.

Allied Victory (IRE) 8-1 (10-6) In rear, closed up approaching 5th to be prominent, pushed along straight, no impression approaching 2 out, kept on without matching front pair after, 3rd of 8, 2 1/2l behind Treasure Chest (11-12) at Clonmel 2m hcp gd in Jun.

Ballyfinboy (IRE) 50-1 (11-12) Held up in touch in last, bad mistake 4th (ruby's double), slow jump at 10th, off pace in last when hampered and unseated rider at 11th, at Punchestown 3m 1f gf in May.

Old Supporter (IRE) 14-1 (11-2) Led, headed at 12th, ridden and weakened from 3 out, 10th of 13, 31 3/4l behind Canadian Steel (11-11) at Tramore 2m 6f hcp gd in May.

Captain Cobajay (IRE) 12-1 (9-13) Jumped right 1st and came close with rival, jumped right after too, prominent, fell 5th, at Clonmel 2m hcp gd in Jun.

Maureen's Star (IRE) 9-1 (10-5) Close up, bumped 1st, soon disputed lead, led 4th, soon went on, jumped slightly left 4 out, reduced lead and pressed approaching 2 out, soon headed and no impression, one pace, 2nd of 8, 13l behind Canadian Steel (10-10) at Downpatrick 2m 7f hcp gd in May.

Mr Bolt (IRE) 25-1 (10-4) Waited with towards rear, moderate 7th after 8th, some headway but not go with leaders 4 out, slight mistake 3 out, carried slightly left 2 out, kept on without threatening run-in, 3rd of 8, 15 1/4l behind Canadian Steel (10-10) at Downpatrick 2m 7f hcp gd in May.
