This looks a stronger race than the first division though BEN RUMSON is running so well he'll be difficult to beat. A course and distance winner last month, he defied a 5lb rise to complete a double over 1m2f where he stayed on strongly to snatch the spoils. Another 6lb rise makes things more difficult but a hat-trick beckons. Gold Struck has yet to win and was beaten seven lengths into second over the track and trip last time but Jessamine arrives in winning form having gained her second success over 1m2f on the track for which a 6lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent another big run. Pat Smullen's title may have gone but he'll still be riding winners and he's been on board High Kicker for her last two starts so knows her well.
