Verdict

SOLOMON NORTHUP couldn't quite handle Great Dancer here last month but that was no disgrace and this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark. Shannon Soul made a promising debut behind Indian Tomahawk here last month, staying on nicely over that 7f, so this longer trip will help and Mick Halford's horses remain in excellent form. The newcomers all have something to recommend them as Light That is the second foal of a mare who produced a winner with her first, including on Fibresand, while Don Camillo is out of a mare who won several times in the USA. Artistic Touch is a half-brother to two winners over this trip and Navegante is out of a mare who won in the USA.
