Verdict

Little Village hadn't shown much before her shock victory at Navan and couldn't find enough pace when dropped to the minimum trip here last time. She was conceding plenty of weight to Rose Garnet, who finished just in front of her, but the latter finished strongly and should get involved. Eurosmart Lady was running well at the end of the last campaign and deserved her comfortable victory at Bellewstown when Rose Garnet was behind though she's been raised 8lb and has a long absence to overcome. Lake Wanaka is a bit unfortunate not to have won and must have a chance from her lowly mark but BANGALORE DIAMOND is handed the vote. He has a couple of decent performances off higher marks to his credit and with first-time blinkers fitted can gain his first success in what is a moderate contest.
