Wild Shot gained his only victory in 19 starts on this track in August but is still 7lb higher. COMPATRIOT has found his form and followed a very close second over the track and trip with another good run over 7f where he was staying on so this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark. Pat Smullen rode Jock Talk into second here a couple of weeks ago but that was over an extended 1m3f and Gordon Elliott's charge isn't certain to be suited by the drop in trip. Indian Tomahawk has won around here and puts in the occasional good run from this sort of mark while Mostawfee, though still a maiden, has run very well here on his last two starts and should get into the action.
