In depth

Verdict

Jamesie is versatile having won over 5f and a mile and is running well enough to get involved, especially as three-year-olds have a very good record in the race. Another of the younger generation, EXPIRE, has found his form with a vengeance and was only caught in the shadow of the post at Bellewstown. He can go one better though Good To Follow has run very well over 7f the last twice and will prove a threat. Like Magic, who beat him here last time, would probably prefer and extra furlong as might Sassaway, still a maiden after 21 starts. Mountain Coral is useful but could need a little respite from the handicapper.
