In depth

Verdict

Both newcomers require a market check in view of the yards they represent and D'gentle Reflexion comes into the same category despite delivering a disappointing debut when backed into favouritism and is presumably capable of far better. Celtic Sally pulled too hard on debut and could improve if amenable to restraint and Lancaster Rose came home in mid-division latest in a similar contest. Ring The Moon showed promise on his second Irish start and has now joined Evan Williams. He looks the main danger to HILLARY C, who came back from an absence of over 700 days to produce a commendable runner-up effort here in late-May. She's been given time since that run, will hopefully not 'bounce' and can go one better.
