Verdict

Aidan O'Brien had seven entered at the early stage and relies on Sovereign, a son of Galileo and a full brother three stayers. He hasn't really been tested in his two runs to date on ground quicker than he would have enjoyed and looks certain to improve on what he's shown. EXCELCIUS found 7f and fast going against him at Naas and found this trip and good ground more to his liking when caught on the line by Third World at Killarney while attempting to make all. He can go one better though the winner's yard is represented by Tinandali, who caught the eye behind Sydney Opera House at the Curragh. Willie McCreery's horses are running well and Elite Trooper Grey will have come on for last month's run at the Curragh.
