Verdict

KING AND QUEEN left Germany in May and stormed to a six-length victory over track and trip on his handicap debut and first start for Mark Johnston. He could be any amount ahead of the handicapper and can shrug off a penalty. Remember Rocky has been raised 4lb for winning an amateurs' race at Ayr while Granite City Doc scored at Newcastle before struggling off today’s mark back at the same track. Carbon Dating has slid down the weights but will need to improve on recent efforts here while Trinity Star has proved best over shorter trips so far.
