Verdict

It was heavy going when Donnachies Girl beat Carbon Dating over track and trip last month and the latter re-opposes on better terms today. But BLACK KALANISI finished in front of Capton when beaten only a neck at York earlier in the month and Joseph Tuite’s charge makes most appeal in this having won at Brighton earlier. Stonific ran well for fourth in a higher grade at Thirsk recently and can race off the same mark while winning hurdler River Icon has only won a maiden on the Flat so far.
