Verdict
Gardefort makes his debut for Venetia Williams having won a couple of chases in France. The merit of that form is hard to assess and DUNGEEL makes more appeal. He beat Son Of Flicka on his chasing bow at Catterick on New Year's Day and improvement is expected from Donald McCain's charge. Sixty Something went close at Uttoxeter but turned in a bad one when favourite at Leicester and Bobcatbilly is preferred on his earlier win over 2m4f here in December. Sergeant Dick is another to disappoint on his latest start but is worthy of consideration on his earlier defeat of Wychwoods Brook at Ffos Las.
