Verdict

Poet's Prince and Bee Ina Bonnet are both eased significantly in class for this but are looking high enough in the weights at present. Give Em A Clump handled heavy ground well enough at Ffos Las last month but his only win over this longer trip was in a seller. Vodka Pigeon was second to a useful filly over 6f here on debut and came up against Group 1 winner Laurens last time, though was well beaten. BERTOG has progressed with each run and an opening mark of 72 is probably fair. John Mackie's colt can make a winning start in handicaps if handling the surface.
