      Verdict

      ALGERNON PAZHAM has progressed with every run and would have won much more easily at Leicester but for a last-flight blunder. He should follow-up here though Urban Hymn, an easy bumper winner at Huntingdon last month, will have come on for his debut over hurdles on this track a couple of weeks later. El Indio was well beaten when third at Ffos Las but Howaboutnow defied several mistakes to make a winning start over hurdles at Market Rasen and a better round will see him go close.
