In depth
Verdict
Got Away fell on her UK debut but made no mistake in a three-runner race next time at Leicester, beating Antartica De Thaix by more than four lengths. However, the runner-up is now 7lb better off and she got the better of Desert Queen by nine lengths in this last year, though that rival enjoys a 10lb pull in the weights. RENE’S GIRL (NAP) has been beaten only once over fences and that was over a trip too short. The form of her latest victory at Doncaster is working out well and Harry Skelton was able to take his foot off the pedal a long way from home that day. She looks the one to beat in the day’s feature, though Happy Diva is another progressing nicely.
