        Verdict

        LANDECKER beat Rainbow Peak, who went very close in a competitive handicap at Aintree on Saturday, over a slightly shorter trip here in February and can be forgiven a subsequent run in a Grade 2. This is much easier and he should be capable of defying his penalty as Lord Brendy looks very one-paced and Flawless Filly doesn't appear to be progressing. Il Testone didn't fare badly on his hurdles bow at Newcastle, however, and Cousin Guillaume is surely better than he showed over course and distance last month.
