A superb prize has attracted a strong field headed by JAHBATH, a very impressive winner of his last three including two around here. He’s facing stiffer opposition here but couldn’t be in better form and will take all the beating. Chairmanoftheboard started a short-priced favourite on his debut at Goodwood and came home well clear. Well supported again in a Newbury Group 3, he was never really travelling and that didn’t look his form. Spanish Mission did enough in two starts at Chelmsford in the autumn to suggest he’ll be winning again this campaign and the trip will suit while Getchagetchagetcha, who made a winning debut at Ascot in May and ran well in much better company later. Rectory Road has been here twice and won both times though he’ll need to step up against these rivals.
