In depth

Verdict

Shooters Wood has a rating of 140 over fences and would be a threat to all if transferring his best form over the larger obstacles to hurdles, though he's been tailed off and pulled up in two starts since the turn of the year. Theatrelands may need this but should prove better than he's shown so far while Pearls Legend carries a double penalty and didn't run very well at Ludlow last month. Philip Hobbs runs two but jockey bookings suggest WHO'S JEFF, third on his hurdling debut at Ludlow, is the stable pick and he could be the one to be on granted luck in-running.
