    Verdict

Trapani showed little progress stepped up to 1m2f at Newcastle and gets first-time headgear today. MOONLIT SEA finished seventh at Newcastle on his debut but was beaten only a couple of lengths over the mile trip and with this extra distance expected to suit, James Tate’s colt may prove good enough. Almost Midnight is related to middle-distance winners in Germany while Alpasu is also bred for today’s trip and both are preferred to Hen of the newcomers.
