        Verdict

        Space War went close at Redcar on his penultimate start though appeared to have little excuse for finishing last at Beverley recently. UNCLE DERMOT was placed at the latter track and also at Ffos Las before his latest below par effort and he gets the vote to return to form in this. Keene's Pointe has been running well over 6f and Nasri won over the same trip at Kempton in August. Illustrious Prince scored over today's trip at Beverley during the summer and Lendal Bridge was successful at Musselburgh off a 5lb lower mark back in May.
