    Verdict

Gan Amrhas was once again very disappointing when only ninth of the ten runners at the Curragh last week and last year's 2000 Guineas third cannot be followed with any confidence at present. FAMOUS NAME is penalised for his Group 3 victories but wasn't far off a superb success at the highest level when only just over a length runner-up to Aqlaam in the Prix Du Moulin at Longchamp. Recharge, who was beaten a length by Sea The Stars as a juvenile, has won first-time-out in both seasons and is very lightly-raced.
