      Verdict

      Danegeld has shown little so far this year and is dropped in class as a consequence. But MARMALAD has also been competing in handicaps and gets a tentative vote to come out best in this lowly grade. Pool House has made little impression in plating races so far but Teolagi may do better at this level having tumbled down the weights. Veeraya was well beaten in a claimer at Doncaster last time but by higher rated horses than these and he could figure.
