In depth

Verdict

Kendergarten Kop won on his only start on Turf here last month and though beaten a long way when runner-up at Chepstow should still be respected as he's won from this mark on the all-weather. Takeonefortheteam looked a likely future winner when a close second in a Class 5 at Bath but ran moderately when well supported at Leicester. SAVITAR (NAP) hadn't shown much before a fine run in a Class 5 handicap at Goodwood where he stayed on very strongly over that 6f. His pedigree suggests he should stay this trip so gets the vote as Your Choice has been fading over 7f so isn't certain to stay. Mullarkey hasn't been running badly but is still 7lb higher than his last winning mark.
