Verdict

Gortoe Joe tends to struggle for pace over this trip and, though sure to have benefited from last month’s second at Uttoxeter, looks vulnerable under a penalty on this sharp track. Kreb’s Cycle is surely better than he showed when pulled up at Worcester but Panic And Run is having a first run over hurdles and has also changed stables. THAT’S A GIVEN was sent to Punchestown for a valuable bumper in April after winning at Huntingdon but was caught out by a lack of experience. He’s a half-brother to the useful Wait For Me and should thrive over timber.
