Verdict

THE ROMFORD PELE was seventh in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham in March having won at Bangor earlier. He should pay his way over hurdles this season and is preferred to another bumper winner, No No Charlie, here. Porgy wasn't winning out of turn at Worcester but is going to find it harder from now on under a penalty and Antonius Lad has proved disappointing. Hurdling newcomer Siberian Sun has a bit of scope, however, though may do better when tackling longer trips.
