Verdict

Sod's Law acts on ground with some give and got going too late when favourite at Leicester. Infanta Isabella has twice finished second over a 1m2f here on good to soft so should be thereabouts if handling the drop in trip. Regimented was second over course and distance two runs ago but then disappointed over a furlong further at Lingfield. Time For A Toot hasn’t been running badly this season and was a heavy-ground winner last year but Vixen is upped in grade and Chevallier was claimed out of Archie Watson’s yard after winning at Wolverhampton in March. LEADER WRITER was unlucky in-running making his debut for David Elsworth at Beverley. He was only beaten half-a-length and is only a pound higher here with Ryan Moore taking over the reins.
