Verdict

Winsili and Izzy Top went on to Group 1 success after winning this for John Gosden in recent years and Oaks entry Martlet should go close having got off the mark at Chelmsford last month. But Luca Cumani won last year's renewal with Volume and PAMONA can follow suit. She won a Newmarket maiden in October beating the re-opposing Entertainment three lengths and a string of fancy entries suggest big things are expected of her this year. Brandybend, Jasmine Blue, Camagueyana and Nadder are all in the Ribblesdale and are others to note along with Oaks entry Crystal Zvezda.
