Verdict

HUMBOLT CURRENT would have found his way into a few notebooks after making up lots of late ground to claim second-place on his racecourse debut at Yarmouth. This extra distance will suit William Haggas’ 2000 Guineas entry. Coolongolook is in the Derby and finished in front of a subsequent winner when runner-up over a mile at Kempton while Mapped made the frame over track and trip on his introduction. Boing has the more recent form with a placed effort at Kempton earlier this month while the Godolphin colt Team Decision, a half-brother to a Group 3 winner, is preferred to Deliverance of the newcomers.
