Verdict

True Hero gave promise of more to come when only finding one too good at Windsor. He had more than three lengths to spare over fourth Came From The Dark and should have few problems confirming that form. Heroic did best of the debutants when fourth at Ascot two weeks ago and is another likely improver. That form looks stronger than Tanqeeb’s third at Ffos Las. A 95,000gns son of Charm Spirit, OUZO has a cracking pedigree being a half-brother to numerous winners including the useful Balducci and Dont Dili Dali. Richard Hannon has won a division of this maiden in three of the last five years and the booking of Ryan Moore increases confidence of a solid first run. Jilbaab is from a yard that can get one ready at home and he cost £80,000 so is worth a market check.
