Verdict

Afonso De Sousa drops back in trip after a third in Group 3 company at Dundalk while Tales Of Grimm came good in a conditions race at Newbury last time beating French Navy a head. The latter wears Godolphin's second colours behind Kassiano, who has every chance on his earlier second to Hunter's Light at Meydan. A line through the latter brings German raider FEUERBLITZ into the equation and Michael Figge's charge gets the vote after returning to something like his best when landing a Listed race at Strasbourg last time. Tullius goes well fresh but the veteran Premio Loco and Boom And Bust were both well beaten behind Soft Falling Rain here last time. The progressive Short Squeeze has won a hat-trick of handicaps and takes on better rivals today.
