Verdict
This should prove informative with several boasting fancy entries including Secret Protector. The latter won a conditions race at Meydan in February and William Buick prefers him to stablemate Highland Avenue, who has won twice at Kempton this year. Aidan O’Brien runs Arturo Toscanini, a winning debutant over 7f at the Curragh in November and returning to action in a tongue-tie. He’ll likely go close but ROYAL CHAMPION is entered in all the top three-year-old races and, having won over a mile here on last year’s debut, Roger Varian’s colt gets the vote with his yard in fine form. Fancy Man is a Listed winner and Youth Spirit placed in the Vintage Stakes while New Treasure was well beaten in a Group 2 at Meydan last month and returns to the Turf.
