Verdict
SALOUEN (NAP) comfortably has the call on official ratings after a close third in the Racing Post Trophy and though he has more experience than most of these rivals he should put that to good use and take this. Montataire also has plenty of runs and won at this level at Salisbury though he didn't show the expected improvement in Group company later. Law And Order, a winner on the July Course, was placed at Group 3 level later before returning to action with a Listed victory on the Polytrack at Lingfield for which he's penalised. Khalidi was beaten in a handicap on his reappearance but Ascot Listed winner Apex King looks the type to do better in his second campaign.
