Verdict

LIMATO has run at Newmarket six times and won four including the Group 2 Challenge Stakes over the trip in October when Salateen was well beaten. He has a penalty to carry but will have come on a bundle for his run at York where he probably found 6f on fast going against him. Glorious Journey will be receiving 5lb but was beaten in a Listed contest last time and may find the selection has too much class for him. Suedois has done brilliantly to win eight races though the selection beat him twice back in 2016 including in the July Cup. Tabarrak was only fourth in this last year and has a little bit to find with the principals while Cardsharp hasn't quite made the expected progress after winning the Group 2 July Stakes here two years ago and finished almost last in the Royal Hunt Cup last week.
