Verdict
Balty Boys and Chil The Kite have struggled since winning earlier in the year and both ran way below par in the same handicap at Ascot a fortnight ago. Gm Hopkins finished runner-up in that Ascot race but had earlier finished well behind SO BELOVED when David O'Meara's charge won a Group 3 over a mile at Goodwood in July. The latter has been competing over 7f subsequently but gets the vote back over today's trip. Master The World has a bit to find with Gm Hopkins on latest running while the three-year-olds Dancetrack and Mitchum Swagger have a tough task at the weights.
