Verdict

SILVER ALLIANCE and Ross Birkett teamed up to win this in 2014 and arrive off the back of a recent victory at Newbury. That pairing should go close again while Lean On Pete was placed in one of these events at Beverley last week and Merchant Of Medici has also won for an amateur before. Both of Qibtee’s wins last year came in amateurs’ races, including a course and distance success, and he can figure but both Farham and Muqarred have something to prove over today’s longer trip.
